In 2016, Jonny built a sauna in his back garden. It quickly became a sanctuary — somewhere to relax, slow down, and have space for solitude and reflection during busy times. Having a sauna at home made him appreciate the benefits regular sauna use brings to life and he’s built them everywhere he’s lived since.

One reason he builds saunas is to promote the culture and positive effect it has had on his own wellbeing. He’s inspired by traditional Finnish saunas where layouts are designed to get the best löyly – the right balance of humidity, airflow, and heat – so saunas feels both efficient and deeply restorative.

He’d love to help others have access to regular saunas and experience the relaxation and stillness they enable — all too sorely needed in these busy days.
